Maker: Spode  Pattern: Signature Collection

Each year Spode created a small number of special pieces to add to their Signature Collection of strictly limited editions. Each one was carefully reproduced from the factory archives, which stretched back almost 250 years and decorated with a specially selected historic design. Each item is an antique in all but age.
This authentic Georgian Cheese Cradle is decorated with the Rome design, introduced in 1811, and was part of Spode's Signature Collection for 2002. A maximum of 750 were produced as a worldwide limited edition and this is number 743 of that edition.
