Maker: Spode  Pattern: Signature Collection

Made in England. Each year Spode created a small number of special pieces to add to their Signature Collection of strictly limited editions. Each one was carefully reproduced from the factory archives, which stretched back almost 250 years and decorated with a specially selected historic design. Each item is an antique in all but age.
This authentic Georgian Comport is decorated with the Girl at Well design, introduced in 1823, and was part of Spode's Signature Collection for 2001. A maximum of 500 were produced as a worldwide limited edition and this is number 136 of that edition.
