Maker: Spode Pattern: Ruins
Lovely square plate with indented corners printed in a steely blue. This pattern also known as Melrose.
Backstamp: Ruins, Copeland Late Spode, registration mark for 1848 and impressed Crown.
A little surface scratching with the occasional minor blemish and on the back a little minor wear.
