Maker: Spode Pattern: Ruins
This pattern also known as Melrose. A fabulous plate printed in a smokey grey/blue with a lovely acorn border.
Backstamp: Copeland Late Spode registration mark for 1848 and impressed Copeland Crown.
Surface scratching with a little wear to the outer rim and a little loss of glaze to the stilt marks.
