Maker: Meigh Pattern: Asiatic Birds green
The pattern is similar to Asiatic Pheasants, but here printed in green. In English Toy China by Doris Anderson Lechler it is attributed to Charles Meigh of Hanley, Staffordshire 1832 to 1850 and we have gone along with that here.
This is a lovely set of stand, tureen and cover. The stand has light crazing and three small hairlines to the rim, noticeable really only from the back. The tureen has a touch of crazing otherwise that and the cover are absolutely fine. No makers marks.
Dimensions: Tureen at neck 9.5 cm x 8 cm / Tureen at neck 3.75 ins x 3 ins
