This delightful scene is derived from a watercolour Swarm of Bees, Autumn by George Robertson 1742-88, which hangs today in the Cecil Higgins Art Gallery, Bedford.
No backstamp.
Light all over crazing with some surface scratching on both face and back. Overall excellent condition and a fabulous plate.
