Maker: Spode Pattern: Ruins
Also known as Melrose pattern. A wonderful pattern printed in a soft steely blue. Fabulous acorn border with embossed acorn detail highlighted with gilt to the side handles.
Backstamp: Copeland Late Spode and registration mark for 1848.
A little wear to the outer rim otherwise excellent condition.
