Maker: Ford Pattern: Lonsdale
The successive partnerships of Smith Ford & Jones, Smith & Ford and then Samuel Ford & Co of Lincoln Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire made Lonsdale. Most items have just Lonsdale or Made in England on the back, but examples with a Samuel Ford backstamp are recorded. Unmarked examples are possibly earlier.
With gilt decoration to rims and handle, although there is some wear.
A very blurred blue printed backstamp Lonsdale.
Excellent condition.
