Maker: Masons  Pattern: Kings College Cambridge

Used at Kings College, Cambridge this service was made for them by Masons. Kings was founded in 1440 and depicted either side of the tureen and on the cover is the west front of the Chapel, built between 1446 and 1538.
Backstamp: Mason's Patent Ironstone China.
Sadly this tureen has seen life! It has chips around the rim, a few blemishes around the outside, small hairline to the rim and a manufacturing fault to the foot. The lid is in has a small chip and tiny hairline to the inner rim and a few minor blemishes.
