Maker: Spode  Pattern: Signature Collection

Made in England. Each year Spode created a small number of special pieces to add to the Signature Collection of strictly limited editions. Each one was carefully reproduced from the factory archives, which stretched back almost 250 years, and decorated with a specially selected historic design. Every item an antique in all but age.
This grand dish is decorated with the Zoological design, which was introduced in 1837 by Robinson, Wood & Brownfield. Spode acquired the copper printing plates, when William Brownfield & Sons closed down in 1900. As part of Spode's Signature Collection only 1500 dishes will be produced as a worldwide limited edition. The edition for this item is now sold out and it is no longer available.
