Maker: Spode Pattern: George III blue with colour
Absolutely wonderful design of exotic bird with fruit and flowers all in hand applied enamel colour, set against a pretty background of delicate blue daisies on a white background. This pattern was originally called Raleigh, but was renamed George III, specifically for sale through Harrods of London.
Excellent condition.
Blue printed Copeland late Spode seal backstamp, with registered number 677526 (for 9 August 1920) and Spode's George III. Pattern number 2/7342 in script. Impressed Copeland over crown. Impressed with date for January 1923
