Maker: Spode  Pattern: George III blue with colour

Absolutely wonderful design of exotic bird with fruit and flowers all in hand applied enamel colour, set against a pretty background of delicate blue daisies on a white background. This pattern was originally called Raleigh, but was renamed George III, specifically for sale through Harrods of London.
The transfer is just a little hazy in parts otherwise in excellent condition.
Blue printed Copeland late Spode seal backstamp, with registered number 677526 (for 9 August 1920) and Spode's George III. Pattern number 2/7342 in script. Impressed Copeland over crown. Impressed date for December 1922.
