Maker: Spode Pattern: Frog colour
With gilt. Fabulous rimmed soup plate with indented ochre rim. Blue printed with hand applied colour and gilt decoration, on stone china. This pattern was specially commissioned from Spode by King George IV and was first used at his Coronation Banquet on 19 July 1821.
Backstamp: Spode Seal Mark, Stone China and some with 3248 in script.
The occasional minor blemish and a little wear overall excellent condition.
