Maker: Spode  Pattern: Signature Collection

Made in England. Each year Spode created a small number of special pieces to add to the Signature Collection of strictly limited editions. Each one was carefully reproduced from the factory archives, which stretched back almost 250 years, and decorated with a specially selected historic design. Every item an antique in all but age. This charming and idiosyncratic item is a faithful reproduction of a Spode dog bowl from the 1820s. This bowl is a second and is not numbered as part of the limited edition.

There are one or two very minor printing errors which is why this was a second, and just a touch of surface scratching, overall though it is in excellent condition.
