Maker: Spode  Pattern: Signature Collection

Made in England. Each year Spode created a small number of limited edition special pieces to add to the Signature Collection. Each one was carefully reproduced from the factory archives and this lovely dog bowl was intended as one of only 750 made.
Backstamp: The Signature Collection Italian Introduced c1816. Produced in a limited annual quantity. This piece is .. of the year 2003 edition of 750 specimens. Spode Made in England. The number has been scratched out to imply this is a second.
On one side the pattern has been printed in reverse and inside to the base there is a small piece of grit in the glaze, otherwise excellent condition.
