Maker: Herculaneum  Pattern: Greek

Greek pattern is also known as Etruscan and usually attributed to the Herculaneum factory of Liverpool, although a marked piece is yet to be found. Ochre rims. This is a delightful sauce tureen with cover and stand. Stand has light crazing, a small stain to the face and a small manufacturing chip under the rim. Tureen has light crazing with internal staining, although it looks bright and clean from the outside. The cover has light crazing, otherwise is fine.
No maker's backstamp. An absolutely lovely set.
