Herculaneum Greek Meat Dish or Platter small c1815

Maker: Herculaneum  Pattern: Greek

Greek pattern also known as Etruscan and usually attributed to Herculaneum, although a marked piece is yet to be found. Ochre rims. Crazed with some light staining, although the beauty of this pattern is that staining is usually more visible from the back. There is a little wear to the ochre rims. One has very minor hairline to rim.

Dimensions: 33 cm x 25.5 cm / 13 ins x 10 ins
