Maker: Rogers Pattern: Views Series
John Rogers and Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire active 1815 to 1841. A series of landscape views, of which the location of some have been identified, but this one remains unknown.
Backstamp: Impressed Rogers 8.
Fine all over crazing with some surface scratching and a little discolouration to one of the stilt marks. On the back there is a little light discolouration, a small chip and a little wear to the foot and a small manufacturing fault. Sounds much much worse than it looks, this is a lovely plate.
