Maker: Rogers Pattern: Views Series
John Rogers and Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire active 1815 to 1841. A series of landscape views, of which the location of some have been identified, but this one remains unknown.
Impressed backstamp Rogers.
Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 545.
The glaze is crazed and there are two minor rim chips, one to the face (at the top) and the other on the back. Overall bright and clean.
