Maker: Spode  Pattern: Caramanian Series

A magnificent large oval dish from Spode's famed Caramanian series. The central view of the Arch is surrounded by the intricate border of elephants, rhinos, horses and cattle. The dish has a little light crazing to the glaze, with just a little discolouration mainly to the rim. There is some wear from use to the face, inner and outer rims and to the back of the dish. Overall though a most impressive piece. Impressed Spode.
