Maker: Spode  Pattern: Caramanian Series

Beautiful large rectangular platter in the Caramanian Series and here the scene is The Castle of Boudron in the Gulf of Stancio.
Backstamp: impressed Spode, in upper and lower case, with A beneath.
Some minor utensil marks, light all over crazing and a tiny blemish to the left of the seated figure, otherwise excellent condition. It is bright and clean and the glaze gleams almost as new.

Dimensions: 47 cm x 37 cm / 18.5 ins x 14.5 ins
