Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Tendril
Very pretty plate. Crazed with just some discolouration mainly on the back, two small chips to the rim and wear to the outer rim. Perfect dresser plate as from a distance it looks fine.
No maker's backstamp. This design is normally attributed to Benjamin Adams, when the central medallion has a white background. This item is from a service, where only one piece had a backstamp, impressed Enoch Wood & Sons of Burslem. Overall there is insufficient evidence to attribute all pieces to Woods.
Dimensions: 24 cm / 9.5 ins
