A wonderful early coffee pot. Crazed, and it has three hairlines to the rim and another across the handle at the top. The cover is not the correct one, actually from a custard cup, but fits quite well.
No makers marks. This design is normally attributed to Benjamin Adams, when the central medallion has a white background. This item is from a service, where only one piece had a backstamp, impressed Enoch Wood & Sons of Burslem. Overall there is insufficient evidence to attribute all pieces to Woods.
