Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Tendril
This lovely platter has light all over crazing with some discolouration mainly to the back and around the outer rim, but still has a lovely shine to it.
No maker's backstamp. This design is normally attributed to Benjamin Adams, when the central medallion has a white background. This item is from a service, where only one piece had a backstamp, impressed Enoch Wood & Sons of Burslem. Overall there is insufficient evidence to attribute all pieces to Woods.
Dimensions: 37 cm x 26 cm / 14.5 ins x 10.25 ins
